Yes, images are reviewed before they are posted but not for artistic reasons. Art Gateway strives to be a positive community enviornment where artists can express themselves and show their creativity. In order to ensure the integrity of the site, we put this safe guard in place in order to filter out pornography (yes, we know the difference between art & porn), spammers and the like. A lot of the great art has been inspired by politics, religion, love, hate, violence, suffering and struggle. In no way are we trying to supress your viewpoints as an artist.
